The New York City Football Club added 24 year defender Stephen Turnbell on a short term contract from it’s developmental club NYCFC II. Turnbell, who turns 25 on March 13, spent the 2022 season with the MLS Next Pro team, picking up 5 goals in 23 matches with the club.
Players can be signed under Short Term Contract a maximum of four Short-Term Contracts per season and appear in no more than two league season matches.
With the recent return of defender James Sands and Midfielder Santiago Rodriguez it’s been a busy week for the club.
