The Fordham Rams continued their offensive barrage Saturday night with a 45-14 win over Stony Brook, running their winning streak to 3 straight and their 7th straight game this season with 40 points or more. Lead by Senior QB Tim DeMorat the club fired off a quick 31-0 score by halftime and dropping the Sea Wolves to 0-6. With his 371 yard, DeMorat leads all of FCS with 2652 yards while their offense remains tops also in FCS as well, pulling in 49.8 points per game, staying just ahead of Incarnate Word. Adding to the offense was 111 yards and the first two TDs of the game by RB Julius Loughridge. The 6’0”, 210lb Sophomore currently sits at 640 rushing yards for the season and and average of 7 yards a carry.
After a short break the Rams will take their 2-0 in the Patriot League record and that offense on the road on October 29 against fellow 2-0 Patriot League (and current 6-0 overall) Holy Cross. With four games remaining on the season (and all four against Patriot League clubs), and Holy Cross averaging just 15 points a game on defense this game could determine which team ends up in first place at the end of the season.
