The New York Red Bulls managed to snag one point at home Saturday night vs visiting Sporting KC in a 1-1 draw on a chilly night at RBA. The first half of the match was frankly a slog as 45 + 8 produced zero shots by either squad.
Finally getting both the first shot on goal and the first goal at the 55 minute mark by Allen Pulido.
Officiating was the obscenity word of the day for Red Bull fans, from fouls occurring outside the field of play to fouls occurring inside the box yet not being called, the year of scrutiny continued for PRO Refs. However the club breathed a collective sigh of relief after picking up the overdue equalizer at the 88th minute by Julian Hall for his second of the year.
